WOOD SPECIES
What species of logs do you use?
We use Douglas Fir and Western Red Cedar. Our logs are hand selected, then felled, hand hewn and sprayed with a fungicide before being selected for handcrafting into your home. We hewn our logs with a planner as this gives a smoother look and prolongs the decaying process as the cells of the wood are kept closed.
