Do your homes settle?
Yes, all log homes have to some degree settling. This is due to the decreasing amount of water within the log, and the constant pull of gravity.

These three things are inevitable and can not be prevented,But at Laidlaw Custom Log Homes we use the latest in technology to reduce and slow the rate of shrinkage. In doing so we also reduce the amount of checking and cracking.
